It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage the entire cast & crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan!
A hilarious journey for both performers and the audience, the original Broadway production garnered 8 nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards including Best Musical. From the songwriting team Kander and Ebb of Chicago and Cabaret fame! Enjoy the talented SOCSA students both on stage and off as they tackle this challenging and hilarious production!

Stand Up for SOCSA Benefit Show Starring Rita Rudner!
Need a great night out, filled with song and laughs? Come and enjoy a full evening of stellar entertainment. Enjoy the sounds of singer-songwriters “92629” (Molly Bergman and Peyton Goss.) These talented young musicians play and sing original compositions as well as covers.
Next up, comedienne Rita Rudner! Rita is a world renowned film actress and stage performer. Tonight we will enjoy her stand-up comedy show, straight from stages in Las Vegas and New York. Don't miss this special event, which raises funds for our own SOCSA progam.
